WAYNE COUNTY CHILDREN SERVICES BOARD
Due to our agency being located next to the soccer fields, and soccer being in full swing, the agency’s North Main Parking Lot will have barricades at both entries so that these parking spots are available for our training participants.

Barricades will be placed where the red lines are located leaving enough space for one car at a time to enter through the barricades (see picture to the right).  There will be signage on the barricades (ex: Private parking, No Entry, etc. for public).

Visitors to the building and those attending training are ALLOWED to park in this area. Barricades will be in place through the end of October.

Registration:

For those WITH E-Track Access (public-agency caregivers and public/private-licensed adoptive parents):

Use the above listings as a reference ONLY. You will then need to follow your agency's guidelines to enroll for training in E-Track. To learn more about E-Track, how to access it, and how to use it, visit the E-Track Training Page for Caregivers and Adoptive Parents. Or, if you are already familiar with how to use E-Track, go directly to E-Track to register.

For those WITHOUT E-Track Access (private-agency caregivers, kinship providers, and other visitors):

Please reference the listings linked above and contact NEORTC Training Coordinator Julie Hayden, 330-379-1976, jhayden@summitkids.org for more information on any sessions listed. To register for a particular training session, call the Registration line at 1-866-294-3787 or Vickie Webb at 330-379-1935.  Please leave a voice mail message with your name, agency, telephone number, email address and training you want to attend.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Please be advised that NEORTC (Northeast Ohio Regional Training Center as part of the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program) needs to enforce the rules for training, especially regarding attendance and cell phone usage during training. As you attend training you will notice that rules are posted in the lobby and in training rooms. These are, and have been, standard procedures throughout the State of Ohio for OCWTP since 1986, and we are required to abide by them.

Specifically, we have been asked to disallow cell phone/pager usage during training so please turn off cell phones and pagers while training is in session. You may return calls at scheduled break times or during lunch.

Training room doors will be closed when training begins at 9 AM. As you may know, there is a "15 minute rule" for training that states a participant cannot miss more than 15 minutes of a one day or multi day training and still receive credit for the training. However, trainers have the right to refuse participants late entry into training even if it falls within the 15 minute rule. Bottom line: to be on the safe side, be here at 9 AM for the beginning of training and be sure to return from breaks and lunch on time.

Feel free to contact NEORTC if you have questions about NEORTC or the training rules for participants. These rules are not meant to be punitive to any individual but rather, are aimed at ensuring there is a positive learning environment for all participants. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you.
