Workshops are offered primarily for child welfare staff from County Child Protective Services agencies. Trainees outside the Ohio Child Welfare system are admitted on a space available basis and will be notified one week prior to training if space is available.

Cancellations: If you are unable to attend a training you registered for, please notify Kathy Nagle immediately at knagle@co.lucas.oh.usor by phone at (419) 213-3653.  Someone else may be able to use your space.

The 15-Minute Rule is a standard held by each Regional Training Center in Ohio that requires participants to miss no more than 15 minutes of a workshop, whether one day or multiple days, to receive a certificate. These 15 minutes include the first 15 minutes (9:00-9:15 AM)--so please be on time--It's a matter of courtesy to our trainers and the group.

The location for trainings is the Lucas County Conference and Learning Center (CLC), 711 Adams Street, Toledo, Ohio 43624, unless otherwise noted. This is adjacent to our agency. For a map to the CLC, click here.
