In this section you will find:
  1. A checklist that can be used as a guide as well as a record for New Employee Orientation

  2. New employee resources that include:

    • An outline of recommended orientation topics and content
    • Resources and links to recommended orientation content
    • Worksheets and activities designed to help new employees gather and keep track of information specific to their agency and their community
Note: The orientation outline for new employees was developed based on PCSAO’s Standards for Effective Practice: Staff Orientation and Training as well as feedback from counties across the state. Use the outline to develop an orientation roadmap for new employees. Ideally, the content and activities should be distributed across several weeks. Carefully, review the checklist below and determine which sections you want your new employee to complete and in what order.
