Welcome to NEORTC!

The Northeast Ohio Regional Training Center (NEORTC) proudly serves the counties of Ashland, Ashtabula, Columbiana, Geauga, Holmes, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, and Wayne. NEORTC's offices and training site are located at:

As part of the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP), NEORTC is committed to high quality, culturally responsive, family-centered, job related training for child welfare staff in its fourteen-county region.

As of 7/1/20... 
NEORTC is providing face to face training with limited class sizes.  Any trainee who attends training at NEORTC must read and abide by the 
NEORTC Covid-19 Training Protocol.  Any trainings hosted by individual counties may have additional restrictions/guidance. 
 

If you are in need of scheduling an online training event, staff may register through E-track for sessions by going to: advanced search/learning type/online learning. For foster parent training,go toFoster Parent College (FPC).

In cooperation with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO), and the Institute for Human Services (IHS), NEORTC's staff has provided competency-based training since 1986.
