Welcome to NWORTC!
The Northwest Ohio Regional Training Center
(NWORTC) is housed at Lucas County Children
Services in Toledo, Ohio. Part of the Ohio Child Welfare
Training Program, the NWORTC is committed to
providing high quality culturally-responsive, family-
centered, job-related training for child welfare staff and
foster parents in the sixteen counties served by the
region.

The NWORTC proudly services child welfare staff and foster parents in the counties of Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood, and Wyandot.
In cooperation with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO), and the Institute for Human Services (IHS), the staff of NWORTC has provided competency-based training since 1986.
